Working Student for Software Quality Automotive (f/m)

Job Description

- You are working closely with a team of SW Quality Engineers for Intel's automotive business, based on 12-20 hours per week.

- You are supporting the team to qualify products, measure quality and process indicators as well as gather and analyze data that is relevant for SW engineering.

- You help to manage information and data with the appropriate tools in the areas of engineering, databases, office applications, visualization, etc.

- You are responsible to create, maintain and support an environment to mine, utilize and archive relevant data.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualification are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualification:

- Good understanding of data processing, data analysis and/or data visualization
- Good understanding of databases like MySQL, MariaDB, NoSQL or similar
- Good understanding of office applications, like Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
- Basic capabilities in scripting with languages like Python, Javascript, php, VisualBasic or similar
- Strong oral and written capabilities in English

Preferred Qualification:

- Experience in the administration of databases in a Linux environment
- Experience in creating web based applications/visualization with libraries like Node.js, D3.js, Plotly or similar
- Experience in task automation e.g. data acquisition, report generation, archiving, etc.
- Basic understanding in advanced data analysis with background in statistics, prediction analytics and big data
- Basic understanding of SW engineering development life cycle and SW qualification
