Working student (f/m) for 3G/4G ASN.1 development support

Job Description

Tasks will include but not limited to:

- Over the air Message Sequence Charts MSC creation for 3G + 4G Cellular Protocol Stack. Adding the feature to Intel's own trace tool to display MSCs of Radio Resource Control messages exchanged between NW and UE

- Thoroughly test Intel's Abstract Syntax Notation One ASN.1 encoding and de-coding library.

- Create Test cases for the 3G and 4G ASN.1 decoders on System Trace Tool

- Adding a Treeview of decoded ASN.1 messages to Intel's trace tool and also in Intel's ASN.1 extension GUI

- Support in adding new Metric calculations for Key Performance Indicators KPI as post processing task of trace output

Learning Opportunities:

- SW development tools, SW flows, SW methodologies, STT, UTP, OPTCM6.

- SW testing methods Unitest

- Enhance programming language skills.

Enhance soft skills: Communicate to different PS groups as well as Tool teams.

- Becoming familiar with ASN.1 and Cellular Protocol Stack.
