Wireless OEM Technical Account Intern

Job Description
This intern position is on Intel's wireless technical account team that supports PC customers. This team works closely with top OEM and ODM customers to support the successful design-in integration of Intel's leading Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technologies on new notebook and desktop products. The intern job focus will span a number of areas and provide broad exposure to PC customers and ecosystem, PC program execution, wireless products and technologies, HW/SW issue management, and design-in support process improvement.As part of the team, you will be helping out with the following responsibilities:Wireless technical account management of Intel's top PC OEM and ODM customers. Building strong relationships with customer comms engineering, marketing and management teams. Advocating and supporting OEM account design-win strategies and identifying and pursuing new opportunities. Promoting customer technical requirements for new features and issue priorities with internal marketing, product and engineering teams. Proactively tracking customer design-in enablement schedules, providing clarity on qualification requirements, and supporting customer engagement activities. Providing first-line technical support on issues, working closely with customers and internal teams to prioritize issue severity, driving process timelines for issue debug and resolution, and providing regular status updates back to customers. Developing new approaches to track platform design-in status and issues to improve overall support efficiency and customer satisfaction. To work effectively across our distributed organization, candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills English included. Must have an ability to integrate technical knowledge with some general business acumen. Need to be a team player, responsive, self-directed and motivated to be successful in this highly competitive market environment.


Qualifications

Candidate should be enrolled at least part-time in a fully accredited university program focused on Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant degree programs. Prefer graduate or under-graduate intern candidates that have completed their 3rd year and can be available at least 20 hours a week. Additional skills required for the job include:Good verbal and written English skillsStrong detailed organizational skills Good command of Excel, PowerPoint and other software tools
