Position Overview:

  • Constructing the final image by combining layers of previously-created material, including rendered computer animation, special effects, graphics, 2D animation, live action and static background plates.
  • Play a vital role within an ambitious and talented team creating high-end storytelling content and motion graphics for digital, interactive, marketing, and advertising.
  • Can achieve a high level of photo quality content through expertise of compositing, optical FX, color correction and post production work.
  • Constructing the final image by combining layers of previously-created material, including rendered computer animation, special effects, graphics, 2D animation, live action and static background plates.
  • Coordinate and manage outside agencies

Responsible for creating high quality digital composites and visual effects for immersive media content:

  • Thorough understanding of compositing in NUKE and AfterFX
  • Seamlessly integrate the various layers or elements of a live-action volumetric shot
  • A keen creative eye and an understanding of color space principles
  • Ability to offer out of the box thinking and creative solutions
  • Follow production process and develop creative approaches and problem-solving.
  • Using 2.5/3D approaches, projections, point cloud, tracking and using 3D environment within Nuke and AfterFX
  • Ensure shots are delivered to the very highest standard;
  • Managing outside agencies


  • BA in Graphic Design, Animation, Film or a related field is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in multimedia design, motion graphics, video editing and animation;
  • Strong foundational knowledge of layout, color, grids, icons, typography, proportion, photography, and motion/rich media;
  • Expert knowledge of After Effects, Nuke, Adobe Creative Suite;
  • Must have experience working on content that appeals to wide audiences;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexities, meet deadlines, occasionally work weekends and work well under pressure;
  • Photo-real feature film experience in live action films and VFX compositing;
  • Working knowledge of overall VFX Pipeline;
  • Experience using multi-pass CG elements
  • Strong artistic skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;

*Must include a Reel or portfolio of work to demonstrate skills and abilities
