Ideal Profile:
- Proven experience in turning around business. And ideally also proven and sustained track record of success in Taiwan, consistently driving growth ahead of the overall market.
- A respected and valued IT Industry / Business leader in Taiwan, a visionary who can balance inspirational goals and flawless execution.
- A true ambassador for Cisco, representing the organizations values and mission, as well as its service offerings
- A recognized leader, someone who can bring together and motivate a high performance team. Able to embrace and utilize effectively their broader company resource. Drive the success of the country organization through visible and inspirational leadership, good communication and effective management practices.
- An experienced leader with the ability to pull together a long term strategic plan for growing the business
- Experienced in achieving significant results leading a transformational agenda
- Experienced working in a multi-national corporation
- Commence re-alignment of the business, both operationally and in terms of human capital, and put in place a 3-year plan to show how business growth will be achieved. Successful execution of that plan.
- Manage government relations at highest level by establishing relationships with key government officials. Drive policies that support the Internet and Cisco's technology strategy.
- Establish industry presence, create visibility and impact with industry groups and leaders, reinforcing Cisco's role as a strategic partner
- Strategize the right approach to the market, positioning the entire portfolio of Cisco products, solutions and services.
- Align and focus the efforts of organizational or departmental units to support the business objectives.
- Accountability for signing documents that verify the country organizations' compliance with financial, legal and government rules and regulations.
- Communicate and reinforce Cisco's Code of Conduct and strict adherence to local laws and business practices
- Manage the bottom line to ensure an appropriate level of profitability for the organization. Develop effective investment strategies, as well as a conservative approach to the cost/expense side of the business.
- Lead change by utilizing your understanding of major organizational or industry transitions to define and communicate what the organization must do to support these changes.
- Manage employee performance through activities such as; career development, coaching and counseling, employee relations, goal setting and performance appraisal, succession planning and administration. Strategically develop key talent within the organization.
- Act as the lead spokesperson for all media and press relations.
