Description Minimum 5 years experience as Project management for the planning, scheduling, reporting, and closure of large scale, nationwide telecommunications services deployments and migrations, specifically Time-division Multiplexing (TDM) to VoIP, to remote locations with applicable experience in VoIP broadband requirements and installation.



+ Experience with and understanding of MPLS and VPN technology migration projects.

+ Proven ability to communicate effectively both orally (phone and in-person) and in writing (reports and e-mail) to both technical and non-technical project stakeholders, technology management, and organizational leaders.

+ Develop and manage Project Charter and Project Management Plan for VoIP deployment leveraging the enterprise Project Management Framework (PMF). This includes defining project scope, stakeholders, schedule, risk management plan, communications plan, budget management plan, quality assurance plan, and other required project management artifacts.

+ Coordinate the activities of a team of four telecommunications administrators that report to the Voice Services Manager in support of VoIP deployment activities.

+ Ensure successful coordination between House telecommunications staff, vendors, applicable subcontractors, and remote office staff.

+ Oversee testing, installation, documentation development, end-user training delivered by VoIP vendor, and monitor overall customer satisfaction with the VoIP migration

+ .Provide regular updates to Voice Services Manager to communicate progress, concern, and risk to mitigate potential issues before they arise.

+ Coordinate and facilitate project and stakeholders meetings and capture key notes and action items

+ Provide site documentation packages to the Manager of Voice Services upon the successful completion of each office migration.

+ Work with project engineers and team leads to collect and analyze project data and translate it into project documentation and stakeholder briefings.

+ Create executive-level briefings and reports for various senior stakeholder audiences which communicates progress towards achieving intended project benefits.

Desired: PMI/PMP certification required
