What You Will Do

  1. Work with account teams and partners to identify vertical solutions and use cases, and position software solutions that will generate new opportunities with the OT side of our customers.
  2. Work in key opportunities alongside Cisco Account Teams, Channels and SPs, to generate value to the offers based on software solutions that will differentiate Cisco´s value for the customers.
  3. Create application prototypes to validate value for customer use cases.
  4. Work with third-party companies to develop some applications on-top of our solutions
  5. Collaborate with inside groups such as DevNet to develop customer solutions added to Cisco solutions.
  6. Influence RFPs, by demonstrating how Cisco solutions, through software components and integration, can provide value to solve requirements that public entities and businesses have.
  7. Generate and coordinate PoVs with customers, making sure the outcome will be measured based on key success factors defined with the customer.

Who You Will Work With

 Cisco seeks a Technology Software Solutions Architect to partner with Public Sector, Enterprise and Commercial Account Executives and Customer-Focus Systems Engineers in a pre-sales technical role, as well as Cisco´s  software development areas and third party companies and partners.

Who You Are

8+ years-related Pre-sales experience providing architectural designs on high-value opportunities

Proven experience with basic software development to generate prototypes that validate value proposals to customers

Virtualization knowledge and containers knowledge is a plus

Management skills of projects, with clear milestones and timeframes for proper execution

Advanced knowledge on Cisco network and data center architectures

Proven experience on Cisco software solutions

Consultative skills with business focus

Typically requires BS/BA or equivalent.

CCNP or CCDP required, CCIE desirable

Deep knowledge and demonstrated experience in SDN solutions and Cisco Analytics solutions

Understanding of market and business drivers of their area of specialization

Competitive knowledge including solution, technology and product offerings

Excellent written and verbal communication, listening and strong presentation skills in English and Spanish

Ability to work effectively and add value as a team member and leading through influence.

Demonstrated consultative skills

Strong problem solving skills: ability to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action
