Description This
position is responsible for the oversight and execution of platform related
initiatives and is accountable for working with broad and highly complex teams
and projects involving significant scope and complexity. The Technical Platform
Services Manager is responsible for ensuring delivery of projects by meeting
and tracking approved scope, cost, schedule, and quality requirements. This
position will provide input and/or oversight to project team members on
requirements gathering, documentation, as well as overall adherence and
governance of the Software Development Life Cycle. The candidate will be
required to work within a cross-functional team.



**Key Responsibilities**



+ Manage the day to dayadministrative tasks for projects, such as: tracking, status reporting,project communications, project meeting planning and facilitation, teammember role planning and tracking, contractor management, risk managementand project issue resolution.

+ Develop, plan, analyze,evaluate and assign priorities to deliverables and requirements.

+ Provide analysis and becomethe technical expert for aspects of the platform and lead identificationand root cause analysis of platform issues, assemble cross functionalteams to address and drive completion of resolution.

+ Determine, write and guidedevelopment of tools/reports to drive analysis of system efficiencies.

+ Define project phases, setdeadlines and track progress.

+ Track all projectdeliverables and ensure adherence to requirements, as well as identify andescalate any issues internally and/or externally.

+ Coordinate and participatein meetings and interface with business units, staff and service providers.

+ Manage stakeholderexpectations with respect to project scope and delivery through effectiveand timely communication.

+ Provide input into testinginitiatives prior to implementation to verify that all requirements thatwere documented are adequately met.



**Skillsand Experience:**



+ Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science, Software Engineering, business administration orequivalent academic experience.

+ 5+ years of progressiveexperience in a technical or project management capacity.

+ Proven leadership ability,strong tactical skills and exceptional service orientation while balancingcustomer requirements as well as internal project deliverables/scope.

+ Technical knowledge ofSplunk, Oracle, Mongo, Cassandra is an asset

+ Excellent written and oralcommunication skills.

+ Excellent interpersonalskills with ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborativeenvironment.

+ Full life cycle developmentexperience.

+ Deep knowledge of projecttechniques, tools and methodologies.

+ Ability to demonstrateknowledge of working across cross-functional teams ensuring all teams areworking towards a common goal.

+ Results-oriented individual thatpulls up his/her sleeves to ensure overall commitment to solutions.
