What You'll Do

Cisco Security Business Group (SBG) is looking for an experienced, high-energy Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) to drive our technical architecture engagement around Integrated Threat Defense architecture. The right candidate will have an opportunity to set internal technical priorities across the entire SBG product portfolio as well as work closely with critical customers and partners as they design their security architecture. Specifically, you will

·       Engage with strategic customers to better understand the real-world environment in which our products are used  

·       Build competitive knowledge and articulate Cisco value proposition against competitors

·       Participate in the development process to provide in-depth customer and technical understanding to both Engineering and the Product Managers

·       Provide compelling technical collateral by synthesizing complex concepts into customer, field, and channel-centric materials

·       Develop and deliver content at key internal and external events such as sales meetings and CiscoLive

Who You'll Work With

Cisco Security Business Group is one of our fast growing business units focused on transforming the security landscape. As part of this team, you will work with the Technical Leaders across the entire SBG team to help shape the technical architecture and develop execution plan. The TME will drive field and customer engagement and influence overall portfolio technology strategy based on customer feedback.

Who You Are

A technical expert that has developed and deployed security architectures across enterprise and in-depth experience with security products such as NGFW, NGIPS, Email security, Cloud Security, SIGs, CASB, etc.      

You are a data driven professional with outstanding communications skills and demonstrated ability in developing and delivering clear technical presentations and white papers on complex topics.

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills in English

BS/MS or equivalent experience is required
