Techincal Lead - Senior Engineer

Job Description

End-to-end responsibility of signal processing firmware architecture, design, development & verification across 4G/5G modem platforms- Collaborate with System engineering, Hardware, Firmware and Verification teams in defining requirements, architecture, feature set, execution & verification strategies- Define HW/FW/SW mapping of signal processing kernels/control firmware, interfaces, task scheduling across multi-processor systems with real-time timing/memory/power constraints- Define unit, subsystem verification methodologies, pre/post-Si workflows across 4G/5G modem platforms- Lead & contribute to the signal processing firmware development, unit/component/system verification & integration across product lines- Support the analysis & debugging of issues arising out of various system, field, conformance and operator verification campaigns- Drive the development of tools for Memory/Cycles/Power/Log analysis - Contribute to processor evaluation, HW/FW partitioning, memory dimensioning & benchmarking


Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience

  • B.S OR M.S OR PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other relevant technology field preferably with an emphasis in Digital communications / Signal processing or related field with 8+ Years of hands-on embedded firmware development experience with focus on physical layer/DSP firmware

  • Expert knowledge in physical layer aspects of cellular radio standards - 2G/3G/CDMA/LTE/5G

  • Experience in DSP firmware development for baseband modems- Experience in DSP based modem architectures, HW/FW partitioning, multiprocessor systems, RTOS

  • Demostrated Excellent communication skills in English- Quick learner, team player and self-driven

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Experience in algorithm design, system simulation

  • Experience in vector processing, fixed point modeling & MIPS/Memory optimization- Experience in DSP core evaluation & benchmarking- Experience in Technical/Team management
