What You’ll Do
You will support the ITC strategy by optimizing processes and maintaining Cisco compliant. You will monitor, maintain and improve the end-to-end compliance processes, which involves:

·         Review tax returns and tax calculation;

·         Support in audits and successful implementation of the advisory aspects into the compliance process in partnership with other teams;

·         Manage ATSC and other tax projects,

·         Provide compliance related indirect tax advisory;

·         Support M&A integration;

·         In general to be a catalyst for change by identifying and driving processes, partnerships and operational opportunities within an international or global framework.

Who You’ll Work with
The International Tax Compliance Team (ITC) is made up of smart and friendly non tech Cisconian’s, responsible for managing Cisco's non-US direct and indirect tax compliance reporting, tax process optimization, tax audits, financial statements and  tax returns review and other related activities. This Team is also responsible for identifying and implementing other operational effectiveness processes and solutions.

You are motivated and enthusiastic professional to work on projects and other tax related matters. You effectively manage the - compliance process, developing world class international compliance support model, and working effectively with internal tax/finance/accounting colleagues on end-to-end processes.


Our minimum requirements for this role:

● Degree in tax or accounting related fields                                     

● Minimum 9 years in taxation and/or Tax Accounting related role

● Strong English communication skills

● Project management, organizational and execution skills



This position requires an individual with strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to quickly integrate into a new process or utilize new IT tools. He/She also requires good project, organizational and execution skills as well as a flexible attitude as the team further expands and takes on additional roles and responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong cross-functional and business partnership skills & show initiatives and should be comfortable in a constantly changing and challenging environment. The applicant needs to be fluent in English both written and spoken and be able to use the various Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook), CTA and CPA will be plus.


The role will report to the Tax Compliance Manager, based in Australia

The position will be located in Beijing, open for Hangzhou and Shanghai
