What You’ll Do 

The Consulting Systems Engineering Manager will be part of the ATS Leadership Team. Responsibilities include leading the APJC-based technical team. Due to our fast growth, this person must have the ability to handle individual contributor responsibilities as well.  The primary objective will be to grow the ATS lines of business.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Creating a sustainable, scalable line of business for AMP, Umbrella, and Stealthwatch
  • Leading the team and managing individual contributors
  • Working cross functionally to solve problems and generate positive outcomes.
  • Leading in a collaborative fashion
  • Meeting or exceeding agreed sales targets
  • Working with Product Management and Development to ensure future solutions meet customer requirements and address current in field obstacles.

Key activities and metrics:

  • Objective #1 is exceed the sales targets
  • Recruit, Train, Empower the team to achieve results
  • Analyzing and technically qualifying sales opportunities, responding to bids/tenders
  • In depth product presentations, demonstrations and management of prospect evaluations.
  • Articulating the high-level benefits of the full CISCO Security solution set to our target audiences (typically senior security management up to CSO)

Who You Are 

Education /Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification
  • 8+ years in a comparable pre-sales position supporting the pre-sales cycle in Information Security solutions, with 5+ years of specific experience in supporting Endpoint Security and other Advanced Threat Solutions
  • 3 years management/leadership


  • Knowledge of the broader threat landscape and the ability to extract technology trends, explain complex behaviors in simple terms
  • A consultative sales approach and a genuine personal commitment to customer success
  • Effective management of the available resources to overcome challenges
  • A commitment to timely customer communication and good customer service.
  • An organized, strategic process-orientated approach to capitalize on the market opportunity.
  • A driven team player with comfort in multiple disciplines: Product Management, Technical Sales, Product Marketing.
  • Effective prioritizing and ability to work with remote, APJ-based sales management teams
  • Strong work ethic
  • Management Experience
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills at all levels
  • Interpersonal skills (building relationships in the technical community in the channel)
  • Flexible and willing to travel extensively throughout the region.
  • Proven track record of managing and winning technical high value IT security opportunities
  • Successful quota achievement


  • Prior experience of CISCO Security or Sourcefire solutions is advantage
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Previous experience working at a security vendor
