We have an exciting Systems Engineer role open on our Sprint team! In this role, you will be responsible for advancing and driving technical deliverables throughout a consultative sales cycle. Who You Are
In this role, you will comfortable in talking & presenting to the executive level all the way down to individual contributor level contacts within Sprint! As the solution crosses different domains (Enterprise and Service Provider), background in the Data Center environment and technologies is a MUST.

Required Skills:
• BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent. 
• 4+ years related experience. 
• Cisco product and end-to-end positioning required. 
• Competitive product experience required (HP, Arista, ALU, Ericsson, Juniper, Brocade, Riverbed, IBM, Dell, ).
• CCIE certification Data Center highly desirable and/or preferred.
• Lead vertically relevant, customer driven engagements throughout the technical sales process
• Engagement with Data Center Architects, Chief Information Officers, Technology Directors to demonstrate value of Cisco architectural capabilities
• Regularly provide innovative solution ideas for consideration from customer engagements in relationship with Business Unit organizations
• Collaborate with multiple Cisco teams ( Business Units, Advanced Services and Cisco Partners )
• Demonstrate industry leadership through participation/influence in industry organizations or standard bodies
• Support Cisco field enablement through technical communities of interest, internal publishing, and knowledge transfer

Networking Protocols, design and products: Switching, Routing, EVPN, STP,, VXLAN, OTV, LISP, FabricPath, etc.
Network Function Virtualization
VIM: Open Stack , Redhat, V- Center 
NFVI: KVM Hypervisor
Storage networking protocols: Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS/CiFS, storage multi-pathing
X86 hardware solutions. Rack and blade server solutions from Cisco UCS, and familiarity with HP, IBM, Dell
Firewalls/IPS, load balancers, WAN optimization, 
VMware: ESXi, vSwitch operations, SRM (site recovery manager), View, vCloud
Cisco: Nexus, MDS, UCS, ASR, Catalyst
