You will work with our Sprint account team. Who You Are

You're comfortable in talking & presenting to the executive level all the way down to individual contributor level contacts within Sprint. You are able to present solutions that cross different domains (Enterprise and Service Provider). Your background in the Data Center environment and technologies will be essential to your success in this role.

Required Skills:

BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent.

4+ years related experience.

Cisco product and end-to-end positioning required.

Competitive product experience required (HP, Arista, ALU, Ericsson, Juniper, Brocade, Riverbed, IBM, Dell, ).

CCIE certification Data Center preferred.

Lead vertically relevant, customer driven engagements throughout the technical sales process

Ability to engage with Data Center Architects, Chief Information Officers, Technology Directors to demonstrate value of Cisco architectural capabilities

Regularly provide creative solution ideas for consideration from customer engagements in relationship with Business Unit organizations

Willingness to work with multiple teams such as Business Units, Advanced Services and Cisco Partners

Demonstrate industry leadership through participation/influence in industry organizations or standard bodies

Support Cisco field enablement through technical communities of interest, internal publishing, and knowledge transfer

Networking Protocols, design and products: Switching, Routing, EVPN, STP, VXLAN, OTV, LISP, FabricPath, etc.

Network Function Virtualization

VIM: Open Stack, Redhat, V- Center

NFVI: KVM Hypervisor


Storage networking protocols: Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS/CiFS, storage multi-pathing

X86 hardware solutions. Rack and blade server solutions from Cisco UCS, and familiarity with HP, IBM, Dell

Firewalls/IPS, load balancers, WAN optimization

VMware: ESXi, vSwitch operations, SRM (site recovery manager), View, vCloud

Cisco: Nexus, MDS, UCS, ASR, Catalyst
