Job Description
In this position, you will be a member of geographically distributed team of engineers responsible for System Stability Testing of Intel's leading Wireless Modem products. You will be involved in analysis and troubleshooting of complex issues such as SW crashes, functional failures, and performance failures. You will own root cause analysis and drive resolution of issues via development teams or tool teams, or infrastructure providers. Your responsibility will include but not limited to:Triaging and analysis of test results, and creation of corresponding tickets.Providing support to BO engineers in resolution of complex issues. Driving analysis and fixing of outstanding issues/tickets in collaboration with Stability Test Leads through development teams. Establishing and supervising the BO process with the aim of continuous improvement.Supervision of BO deliverables to the project and addressing issues / gaps / missed SLA. Interfacing with Script and Tools team on changes required in test framework, test scrip or automation solution. Engaging with Tools team on BO automation and logs processing tools. Monitoring the quality of tickets submitted by BO engineers. Qualifications:Candidates must possess the below minimum qualifications to be considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job experiences. Minimum Qualifications:-You should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Electrical Engineering. -Must have at least 5 years of experience in the following: oExcellent knowledge of cellular modem standards and cellular operator specificationsoIn-depth knowledge in protocol stack and wireless communicationsoDeep understanding of RF communication principlesoExperience in logs and traces analysisoPractical experience in triaging and root cause analysis of modem crashes and functional issuesoExperience in SW testing and QA/ValidationoUnderstanding of SW development flow and application lifecycleoAdvanced PC user with full proficiency in Office tools -Ability to work in multi-cultural environment and under pressure-Ability to communicate to various stakeholders-Good spoken and written EnglishAdditional qualifications will be considered as advantage:oLinux and Windows system administration knowledge oGood understanding of IP networkingoKnowledge in PC hardware components and electronicsoPractical knowledge of Agile / Scrum practicesoKnowledge in Databases basicsoAbility to write simple scripts Shell, cmd, VBA, etc.
