Job Description

You will be working in one of the teams within Visual and Parallel Computing Group which is chartered to develop 3D and Compute drivers for the Intel GPU as well as other solutions in the field of 3D graphics, GPGPU and machine learning technologies.

Based on your skills and business priorities you may be assigned to one of the following topics:

  • OpenGL*, Vulkan* or OpenCL* API driver and/or supporting tools development,
  • Graphics shader compiler and/or supporting tools development,
  • 3D and GPGPU performance analysis and optimizations of Intel GPU hardware and software components,
  • Research and development of new hardware and software features and methodologies in the field of 3D graphics and GPGPU technology,
  • Research, development and optimization of machine learning solutions utilizing Intel GPU hardware and software,
  • Analysis and development of optimal validation models, solutions and tools given constrained resources environment.

Qualifications

You should be pursuing university studies in computer science or a related field. No prior professional experience is required though it may be an advantage. Additional qualifications include:

  • Algorithmic background and strong analytical and problem solving skills,
  • Practical knowledge of C/C++ and/or Python programming language,
  • Dedication, proactive attitude, passion and focus on results,
  • Very good communication skills,
  • Knowledge of English language at intermediate level,
  • Personal interests and/or hobby in the area of 3D graphics, GPGPU or artificial intelligence would be an added advantage,
  • Knowledge of basic concepts of 3D rendering pipeline and 3D/Compute APIs (e.g. DirectX*, OpenGL*, OpenCL*, Vulkan*, etc.) would be an added advantage.
