Job Description

We are searching for a Student who has not yet graduated and is working towards a relevant Bachelor's, Specialist's or Technical degree. The student employee can do specific work in the area of their future degree. It is a temporary position.

The goal of the Bachelor's Thesis Project is to have a test equipment that allows to measure inductor losses at realistic working condition.

The Bachelor's Thesis Project will include:

  • Design of test adapter:
    • FET (output stage of buck converter)
    • Output for current sense
    • Output for voltage sense
    • Output capacitors
    • Output for electronic load
    • Input for function generator
    • Output of temperature sensor
  • Software/Modelling:
    • Analysis of parasitic components (current sense resistor PCB etc.)
    • Analysis of error sources
    • Coding software (VEE) that controls all measurements needed
    • Correction of systematic errors
    • Calibration of the test adapter
    • Vee/LabView demo
  • Documentation


Student that is interested in hardware development and validation/measurement methodology.

Analytical thinking and experience with modeling electrical processes LabView/VEE is required.

Having hardware as well as software skills is an advantage.
