Strategic Business Development Manager

Job Description

As a strategic business development specialist your responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

 

Drive a proactive enabling relationship with a key strategic third party software vendor across Intel’s PC and data center products.  This individual will work closely with our external partner to align on enabling goals and objectives, prioritize initiatives and activities with this software vendor and other potential partners and collaborate with various engineering, sales and product groups to deliver products to market.   This individual will need to drive complex business transactions from deal conception, negotiations, contract closure and software deliverables and be able to actively drive issue resolution across different stakeholders and partners 

 

An ideal candidate would exhibit behavioral traits that indicate:

  • Excellent customer and interpersonal skills and strong written and presentation skills.
  • Ability to deal with change and effectively navigate in a highly matrixed organization
  • An independent yet very collaborative team player
  • Strong results orientation and attention to detail
  • Solid project management and problem solving skills


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business or engineering discipline with 8 years of experience. A technical or business Master's Degree with 6 years of experience.
  • 6+ years of business development and /or account management experience and a proven track record of delivering applications to market, with some experience in the server space.
  • This individual must be able to effectively negotiate and execute deals with third party software companies and effectively maintain ongoing ISV relationships. 

 Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience in strategic account management.
