Staff Engineer – Pre-Si Emulation-FPGA Solution

Job Description

This staff engineer position is to be part of the Malaysia Design Center MDC under Pre-Silicon Solution and Capabilities PSC group within the Manufacturing & Validation Engineering MVE organization in Penang. Responsibilities includes developing capabilities on pre-silicon environment in Virtual Platform/Emulation/FPGA, model build and compilation, enabling internal teams and customers for the use of platform across RTL validation, SW/driver development, power/performance validation and manufacturing validation.

The candidate will also be responsible for supporting debug on pre-silicon platform as well as enabling external customers with pre-silicon capabilities. The focus of the team will be devices products and customer eco-system in Asia region.

The successful candidate must be able to lead forum involve cross functional teams such as Silicon Design, validation, SW development team, and external vendors. Requires broad understanding of multiple system architecture, SoC design/validation methodologies, and emulation/FPGA technologies.
