What You'll Do

In this role as Senior Product Manager will be to:

•       Be the primary product leader

•       Manage a team of product managers responsible for different aspects of the solution

•       Own the product roadmap

•       Build interlocks with engineering, marketing, sales, operations, and finance

•       Create accurate pricing and cost models

•       Deliver presentations to customers, field and other constituents at HQ, in the field, and at industry conferences

•       Deliver primary research and analysis to support efforts

The Global Service Provider (GSP) segment oversees global sales, service delivery, and development for Cisco’s top service provider customers. Global Service Provider is responsible for $12.4 billion in annual sales and nearly 3000 employees. As part of GSP, the Cloud and Network Solutions group delivers comprehensive solutions that combine software, hardware, services and service creation into one complete go-to-market solution for service providers.

We are looking for a highly motivated, self-starter to drive the commercialization of Cisco’s virtual networking solutions. As the industry shifts to Software Defined Networks (SDN), our solutions must be built to leverage the latest in Network Function Virtualization (NFV) technology to automate and orchestrate the delivery of services to end customers. You will join a team that is defining these solutions and delivering them to market.

Who You Are

•       Deep understanding of networking for both Service Providers and Enterprise

•       Deep understanding of service delivery processes at Service Providers, including familiarity with OSS and BSS systems

•       Deep understanding of software licensing, pricing and packaging strategies

•       Knowledge of SaaS business models

•       10 years industry experience

•       Appropriate business experience or schooling

•       Likes to work hard and solve problems.

•       Self starter
