What you’ll do:

You’ll work side-by-side in a truly collaborative manner with our Architecture, Operations, Network, NOC and DCOM team to provide best in class solutions, services, and Operations support for our SaaS platform. You’ll also collaborate with the teams to ensure that our solutions and services meet or exceed our client's expectations and achieve our rigorous quality standards. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Becoming an expert in understanding the existing monitoring infrastructure and lead the transformation of our monitoring infrastructure with a goal to efficiently distinguish the real issue from noise. 
  • Provide On-Call support for both production & non-production issues and proactive Application and System monitoring. 
  • Coordinate with Devops, NOC and Engineering team in driving root cause analysis for production impacting issues.
  • Proactive system capacity planning and build forecast based on the usage history and drive indicative sizing based on business forecast.

You’ll work with the Architecture, Operations, Network, NOC and DCOM teams and our clients. 

Who you are:

You’ll have at a minimum 8 years of Operations experience in the area of supporting products in a large scale SaaS environment. You’ll also have experience with OSS/BSS implementation with large either MNO/MVNO or Service Providers.

Requirements you’ll need to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in CS or relevant experience.  
  • Proficient in various blend of UNIX OS, kernel, and system debugging skills. Java experience is a plus. 
  • 1-3 years Python development experience or an equal level of level of proficiency in another scripting language. 
  • Extensive knowledge of modern virtualization technologies. Prior knowledge of KVM implementation and CISCO UCS Manager/Director is a plus.  
  • Having led, or participated in, the implementation of at least one configuration management system, Ansible is an advantage. 
  • Extensive experience with fully implemented automation workflows. 
  • Prior experience working in a start-up operation is strongly desired.
  • We need people who know how to work independently and make things happen. 
  • Good communication skills - written and verbal is essential. 
  • The ability to demonstrate a high degree of passion for your craft is a requirement. 
  • Continuous learners, anxious to take on new challenges, and mindful of best practices to ensure optimal service.
