What you’ll do:

Test Development Engineer responsible for developing optimized end-to-end test process for Ethernet Switches / Routers, Cell Site Routers & Optical Transmission Products.
Develop board and system level automated functional test processes for complex electronic systems to be deployed at remote contract manufacturing facilities.
Provide input to designs for manufacturability and testability.
Perform product test coverage analysis
Define and implement test philosophies for Ethernet Switches / Routers, Cell Site Routers & Optical Transmission Products.
Responsible for specifying, developing and/or procuring test equipment, Test Fixtures and Test Solutions.

Define/Guide Debug process for test engineers in Contract Manufacturers.

 

 

 

 

  

 Preferred experience or exposure:

Layer 2/3 Data Networking Experience
Hardware Protocols ( Serial, SPI, I2C, PCIe, SerDes, xMII, etc)
Product Reliability Testing

Mobile Backhaul, Pre Aggregation/ Aggregation, Edge Networks

Who you’ll work with:

 Product Operations is part of Supply Chain Operations (Global Manufacturing) and is responsible for New Product Introduction (NPI) and Product Life Cycle Management from Manufacturing and Supply Chain Operations perspective. The product Operations team gets engaged with the Design Engineering teams very early in the product development process and are responsible for all the NPI activities and also support the Products till the end of Life.  

What You Are:

Education: Graduate in Electronics or Electronics & communicationEngineering/Computer Science Engineering

Experience: Minimum 10 Years with Engineering Graduate

 

Industry & Background:

  • Strong knowledge on Electronic Devices, Digital Electronics.
  • Strong Knowledge on Product development process from concept to launch phase.  
  • Strong Knowledge on Hardware Functional Testing & Debug Experience at component Level.
  • Basic Knowledge on PCBA assembly Process & Box build Process.
  • Strong Knowledge on Design for Testability (Structural, Functional & System Level).
  • Strong Knowledge with any scripting Language (Perl, Python, TCL/TK).
  • Having experience on Unix & Linux OS  added advantage ( not mandatory)
