Job Description

The Candidate chosen for this position will interface with a wide range of technical and non-technical stakeholders, including other electrical engineers, other multi-discipline engineers, site operations personnel, facility general managers, end-customer factory and data center management, construction personnel, and local municipalities/utilities.

Primary Job Duties and Job Scope:

  • Providing technical electrical power systems leadership for complex and critical industrial facilities.
  • Providing options and recommended solutions that will enable the electrical system to provide maximum uptime and minimum planned and unplanned interruptions to service, for the facility.
  • Providing leadership in FMEA analysis for critical facilities.
  • Developing and implementing innovative engineering
  • Designing solutions to support very aggressive program and construction schedules that minimize downtime to the facility.
  • Effectively interact with several internal engineering organizations to influence design standards, construction specifications, and operations requirements to ensure these enable facilities to meet their operational success metrics.
  • Performing conceptual engineering analysis for multiple scenarios that can include high level schedule and/or budget development, as well as risk mitigation analysis, to help customers and stakeholders make critical business decisions based on time, cost, and downtime constraints.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or any related field.
  • Permanent right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.

15 years of experience in:

  • Engineering, operation, construction, and maintenance of facilities electrical power systems.
  • Superior electrical engineering power expertise.
  • Managing the operation of and/or updates to, electrical power systems for large industrial facilities.
  • Working with high tech critical industries where maximizing utility robustness and up-time

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Office personal computer applications.
  • Nuclear power plant experience.
  • Familiarity with data center and semiconductor power systems.
  • Experience with construction, startup, turnover and operation / maintenance of facilities mechanical, process and electrical systems.
