Sort Module Engineer

Job Description

The position is for a module engineering role within the Sort area. Sort Engineers own and improve test equipment applications, software and operation systems in order to enhance the quality, reliability and manufacturability of sort testing equipment. As a module engineer, the candidate will be expected to owning aspects of the overall sort process flow including disposition, data loading, quality checks, and automation interaction. This role is within the ATM organization. -Partner with other organizations within ATTD to operate the module. -Developing the appropriate data integrity checks. -Completing qualification of the module and process flow. -Develop a deep understanding of the test module including installation, maintenance, repair, and interaction with automation peripherals Depending on need and candidate's preference, the role may also include: -Development of new material handling methods and tools. -New transport media and material handling. -Die sort automation application development.


Minimum Qualification:

The candidate should possess a Masters or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree with at least 3 years of experience.

Demonstrated leadership within technical teams.
Strong ability to multitask with good tolerance of ambiguity.
Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

6 months to 1 year in Programming.
