Position Description

The Solutions Architect is a key member of our team, taking ownership of technical aspects in evaluations/trials where internal and external customers consider using NSO. It is a challenging but very interesting role that requires both technical breadth and depth in order to be effective. A typical engagement starts off with developing an intimate understanding of the customer’s specific situation and problem and then applying deep knowledge about Tail-f products and a wide range of other technologies to come up with and presenting solutions proposals.


·         Responsible for presenting and explaining NSO software products and technology to customers articulating the unique benefits and value

·         Crafting and presenting solutions proposals addressing the customer’s network or data center challenges/pains

·         Supporting customers evaluating NSO software in everything from installation to customization

·         Working hands-on with evaluator in their labs on Proof-Of-Concepts etc.

·         Creating data models in YANG, scripting, writing transformation code in Jav

·         Representing the company as the technical contact person and coordinator

·         Actively involve all parts of the Tail-f organization as needed (product managers, specialists, tech support, marketing, management etc.) to manage the sales process

·         Communicate feed-back from customers and the market place to stakeholders within the company

Position Requirements

·         Thorough understanding of data center and WAN/LAN networking technology

·         Network administration with Cisco, Juniper and similar WAN/LAN environments

·         Hands-on experience with several device vendors CLI and web UIs

·         Experience in scripting languages and Java

·         Strong skills in Linux

·         Good understanding of IETF standards

·         Excellent communication skills (verbal/written)

·         Ability to multitask, juggle multiple opportunities simultaneously

·         NSO experience

Meriting Skills
