Job Description

Intel Gdansk is expanding its validation team in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning as part of the newly formed Intel's Artificial Intelligence Products Group .

We are looking for an engineer who likes to work in small agile teams. As a Test Engineer you are going to work on validation strategy and test tool selection, write lots of automated tests and perform manual tests. In our team you will have a chance to do high level programming and you will have an opportunity to experience state-of-the-art technologies and software development techniques that are currently used to build scalable, modern deep learning services and frameworks.

You will have an opportunity also to dive into Artificial Intelligence and will be able to master good practices in test design and implementation.

What you will do:

  • Implement automated functional and performance tests

  • Contribute to test plans and write test specifications

  • Create test strategies based on functional requirements and performance guidelines

  • Work on products in the Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning domain

  • Write code in Python and JavaScript

  • Perform manual tests in the areas they apply best

  • Work in a team exercising agile processes: use benefits of continues integration, participate in planning sessions and retrospectives etc.

  • Provide technical support for developed products, contribute to technical product documentation

Minimum Requirements: 
 - Bachelor or MSc degree in Computer Science or related fields
- Proven track of record in writing tests in Python or JavaScript
- Ability to understand and analyze project requirements
- Proven experience with testing frameworks and tools
- Knowledge of various testing methods: unit, functional, integration, exploratory, white-box, black-box, load, pairwise testing
- Practical knowledge on how to apply good test principles and patterns in software projects
- Knowledge of Linux operating system e.g. Ubuntu, CentOS, SuSe etc.
- Knowledge of concepts in the following areas: relational databases, object oriented programming, software development design patterns, web services, client-server model 
- Fluency in Polish and good knowledge of English

Additional Experience/Skills:
- Knowledge of deep learning: math and data science background
- Proven experience in defining and refining test processes
- Proven experience in developing test strategies and translating requirements into appropriate test plans
- Knowledge of waterfall and agile-based software development methodologies
- Good understanding of source control systems, e.g.  Git- Experience with IDE, e.g. PyCharm, IntelliJ

- Prior experience with Jenkins and Docker Soft Skills:  - Good team work and communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to analyze and debug issues
- Good multitasking/context switching skills
- Creative approach to problem resolution
- Open mind
- Systematic and well organized
