Job Description

As part of Intel, we will continue to apply Moore's Law to drive the future of field-programmable gate array FPGA technology. The Programmable Solutions Group PSG has been delivering industry-leading custom logic solutions to customers since inventing the world's first re programmable logic device in 1984. In order to take advantage of the many opportunities that we see in the future for FPGA's, PSG is looking for engineers to join our teams.

We are looking for software engineers to join one of our research and development teams. These teams work on some of the hardest infrastructure, big data and NP-hard optimization problems around. Here, the successful candidate will demonstrate strong ability to work as part of team solving interesting and novel problems. Topic areas include placement, routing, incremental compile algorithms, core infrastructure, timing analysis and various modeling problems.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. Minimum Qualifications: •The candidate must be pursuing a BS, MS or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering Science or a related discipline. • 1+ year of experience working with C/C++. • 1+ year of experience working programing languages. • 1+ year of experience working algorithms and technical requirements. • The BS candidates must have unrestricted right to work in Canada without requiring sponsorship.

As an electronics industry innovator and a leader in corporate responsibility, we look for ways to apply our technology to address global challenges while serving as a role model for how companies should operate.
