We are part of the R&D team that developed Optane Memory Technology at Intel! We are currently looking for talented Software Engineers to fill the dual role of 1 developing tools used within STG for validation and data analysis of storage products and 2 performing experiments around new storage technologies. The position requires the ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects while balancing deadlines and priorities, in addition to communicating the progress of current projects with the team. The ideal candidate will exhibit the following behavioral traits: - Ability to track and prioritize tasks.- Deliver quality products under tight deadlines. - Verbal and written communication skills.- Working both independently and with members of a diverse team.- Organizational skills.- Ability to quickly learn and apply new skills.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must possess a MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
1+ year of experience programming with C/C++ and C languages.
1+ year of experience programming in Python or Java.
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ year of experience working with Windows/Linux kernel
1+ year of experience working in multi-threading
1+ year of experience with Windows or Linux scripting.
