Software Engineer for formal specification and cod (f/m)

Job Description

As a SW Engineer, you will be a part of a talented and highly committed team of engineers that develops, maintain and support complex protocol stack SW for the Intel LTE modem solution. You will be responsible for developing, supporting a tool chain for automated code generation by parsing abstract design language, which describes the SW architecture, and message interfaces of the SW components. Key aspects of this assignment are the implementation of the parsing engine and the roll-out & support. Out of this a complete IDE for protocol stack SW including a test simulation shall be developed. You will work closely together with an international team in a motivating and challenging environment of cutting edge technologies.


Qualifications

We are looking for an engineer with a Master's degree in Computer Science and having a solid Educational background in SW design.

The task requires:

  • Excellent Software programming experience in C/C++ combined with the knowledge of formal specification and code generation.
  • Familiarity with parsing tools like Bison, Lex & Yacc and experienced in working in a professional SW development environment. (any other complier)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work within cross-functional teams and a high motivation to learn leading edge technologies same as willingness to take initiative

Desired skills:

  • Knowledge of developing plugins for the Eclipse Platform.
  • Knowledge of testing SW via Unit Tests in a simulation environment, experience with Linux OS, GIT and script languages e.g. Perl and makefiles
