SoC Verification EngineerJob DescriptionAs a SoC Design Engineer in the Scalable Performance CPU Development Group, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Lead definition, design, verification, and documentation for SoC System on a Chip development. Lead architecture design, logic design, and system simulation. Defines module interfaces/formats for simulation. Performs Logic design for integration of cell libraries, functional units and subsystems into SoC full chip designs, Register Transfer Level coding, and simulation for SoCs. Contributes to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits. Performs all aspects of the SoC design flow from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, timing and power to build a design database that is ready for manufacturing. Analyzes equipment to establish operation infrastructure, conducts experimental tests, and evaluates results. May also review vendor capability to support development.
Minimum Qualifications: You will have atleast a BS or MS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. Minimum 5+ years of experience with pre-Si verification Additional qualifications include: Previous experience in pre-silicon or post-silicon validation/verification preferred. Strong background in computer architecture Familiar with system Verilog/OVM/UVM Programming/scripting experience in Perl or Python Knowledge on emulation is a plus Excellent communication and partnership skills Preferred Skills: Desired plus to have experience with validation in Global functional verification areas such as Reset, Clocks, Fuses, Power management, Security, RAS, Design for TestDFT, Design for DebugDFD and Emulation.
