Silicon Validation Engineer

Job Description
  • Develop new device validation strategies, plans, and schedules by integrating different requirements from various engineering and business departments including resolve issues in all phases of development to ensure smooth project execution
  • Work closely with PCB board designer and manufacturer to develop engineering high speed PCB Board
  • Design and generate test & measurement patterns / vectors
  • Perform ATE tester and bench measurements for high-speed FPGA/PLD devices using state-of-the-art characterization equipment (high bandwidth oscilloscope, high frequency pulse/signal generator, programmable power supply, digital multimeter, etc)
  • Drive exploration of IP validation methodology, platform and infrastructure enablement to improve process and throughput
  • Validation report writing



Qualifications
• BSEE/MSEE or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years’ working experience in High Performance IC/FPGA design/application, verification and validation • Good knowledge in IC validation methodologies and experience in conducting test & measurements for various IC timing/frequency/current/ voltage parameters • Good knowledge in FPGA architecture is an added advantage • Experience in developing programming languages such as tcl, C-programming, VBA, HTML etc. is an added advantage • Experience in handling various high speed test and measurement equipment such as ATE tester, high bandwidth real time/sampling oscilloscope, high frequency pulse/signal , power supply is an added advantage
