What life as a Service Segment Adviser is all about:
  • The Service Segment Advisor will be partnered with a senior member of the Service Enablement team to strategically identify new business opportunity for their allocated region or segment. 
  • You will analyze market data and customer insights to identify new business opportunities for the Cisco Services portfolio, placing special focus on promoting TS High Value Services (HVS).
  • After identifying new opportunities, you will work with the relevant Account Lead to propose the promotion of the Services product portfolio; this will involve pitching suggestions by phone or WebEx and presenting your findings using platforms such as PowerPoint. 
  • You will act as a subject matter expert answering questions advising on queries around your segment of the Services portfolio to a wide range of internal stakeholders from your region and across EMEAR. 
  • You will need to develop a deep understanding of the Cisco Services portfolio workings with the Service Enablement divisions. This will mean you need to proactively build an internal network and stay up to date with Cisco product development. 
What your team and training will be like:
  • The Service Enablement team is focused on capturing value to grow the business, innovating everywhere and being more and more relevant to our stakeholders.
  • You will be placed straight into your role and partnered with a senior member of the Service Enablement team who will support your development. 
  • Formal training will be provided to you via a unique blend of online modules, classroom based lectures and networking opportunities.
  • The first 8 weeks in the job you will join a great training program in our hub in Krakow (Poland). A unique experience to grow your skills and meet all the new university hires joining Cisco.
What we expect from you:
  • University or college degree, an MBA would be an added advantage 
  • Ideally experience in Sales, Services, Consulting, Product Management or equivalent role. 
  • Strong communicator with ability to influence
  • Demonstrated ability in achieving results 
  • Positive and can-do attitude
  • Dynamic self-starter who regularly overachieves targets for assigned business area
  • Ability to understand and use business data to identify sales opportunities
  • Excellent collaborator
  • You are able to begin full time employment on 1st September 2018
