The Service Provider Networking Software (SPNS) team is looking for a qualified individual for the role of Project Manager in Bangalore. This position needs a dynamic Project Manager who leads projects with a passion for cross-functional team work and project outcome.

Who You Are

·       Hands-on Project Management in end-to-end delivery of networking platforms and products where you are willing to extend beyond the boundaries of documented responsibilities to ensure project success

·       Work with multiple cross-functional teams of Hardware, Software, Marketing, Manufacturing, Support, Documentation, etc. to design, build and deliver best in class products and solutions

·       Responsible to ensure that the projects follow the established process and procedures

·       Accountable and ownership for the project outcomes within the constraints of cost, schedule and quality

·       As a stakeholder, facilitate decision making through cross-team collaboration and communication through status reports, project metrics and executive reporting

·       Proactively identify, monitor, minimize project risks and contribute in finding mitigations and solutions

·       Partner with development stakeholders to drive quality initiatives

·       Work with Cisco’s vendor teams where needed

·       As a self-starter, work independently in this role with little or no direction

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

·       Education: Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Engineering Experience: 10-12 years of overall work experience and within that 4-5 years of Software Project Management experience

·       Exceptional and proven track record in project management skills of executing large scale projects (40-50 person teams)

·       PMP and/or Agile Scrum Master certifications is desirable

·       Computer Networking knowledge is desirable

·       Extremely well versed in various software development life cycle models (e.g. Waterfall, Agile, etc.); hardware development life cycle experience is desirable but not mandatory

·       Fairly detailed knowledge of ISO 9001 and TL9K standards

·       Proven track record in driving organizational initiatives

·       Strong negotiation and influencing skills

·       Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

·       Exceptional analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills

·       Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills

·       Executive presentation skills

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office tools - i.e. Word, Excel, Visio, Project and PowerPoint

·       Willingness to work across time-zones
