Who You'll Work With
Cloud Platform and Services Group is developing a suite of software products that adheres to the ETSI NFV Management and Orchestration standard. The solution is an important part of Cisco's virtualization strategy and enables the powerful 'orchestration engine'.

Cisco Virtual Managed Service (VMS) team is looking for a highly energetic, motivated and talented Software Engineer with experience to design and build solutions to meet the Service Monitoring and Assurance needs of the VMS product. 

The CPSG team will design, develop, and deploy transformational experiences leveraging Cloud Technologies for the Cloud Services market. This group within Cisco tasked with building the solution from the ground up to transform the future of virtual services delivery

What You'll Do

Design, develop, unit test and deliver user experience features 
Develop and deliver a top notch UI using the above mentioned technologies. 
Work as part of a high performance team in a fast paced, high visibility environment on a top Cisco initiative
Collaborate with other agile scrum teams across locations, including India development center in Bangalore.
Remain knowledgeable about emerging GUI standards and trends

Who You Are

Expert level knowledge of JavaScript, AJAX, HTML5, CSS
7+ years of experience working with following web frameworks: AngularJS, Bootstrap, jQuery, D3, Node.js, Socket.js
Deep understanding of the intricacies of different browsers like Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer, FireFox
Practical experience providing and consuming RESTful web services, SOAP, XML-RPC, and JSON.
Working knowledge of Java, J2EE, Spring (desirable)
Familiarity with version control systems
Familiarity with release management protocols
Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Critical thinking and excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related fields
