Software Engineer  Who You'll Work With The Cloud Collaboration Technology Group (CCTG) is a one-billion dollar+($1B+) business unit that develops primarily cloud based collaboration software solutions, and is an integral part of the $5B Collaboration portfolio at Cisco, which is investing heavily to transform the future of collaboration experiences for our end users. This position is to join Cisco's Cloud Collaboration Technology Group (CCTG) to work on cutting edge software architecture, design, implementation and deployment.  What You'll Do ■ Design and implement next generation platform features using Agile methodology. ■ Design and implement next generation platform operational requirements such as monitoring, logging, security & metrics ■ Work with Cloud Services team to deploy platform components to cloud.   ■ Design of high performance and scale platform for cloud deployment. ■ Design of high available platform for cloud deployment. ■ Design of applications involving multiple platforms, interoperability with existing software products. ■ Innovative approach to multiple module architecture creation  Who You Are ■ 10+ years of professional experience in software development using Linux/Unix. ■ 6+ years of professional experience in software deployment to large scale cloud environment. ■ Excellent JAVA, Python and Linux shell scripting/programming skills ■ Experience in HA architecture and design ■ Experience in RESTful frameworks & API ■ Experience in databases such as LDAP and Oracle ■ Familiarity with Cobbler, Puppet, OpenStack, J2EE/Web ■ Familiarity with identity management such as SAML, SSO, OAUTH ■ Good communication skills, process-driven person ■ Excellent command of English, especially written ■ University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent   Why Cisco We connect everything: people, processes, data, and things.
