What You'll Do
Insieme is developing the Nexus 9000 line of data center and cloud switches that feature application awareness to make the network infrastructure flexible and agile for dynamic response to application needs and virtual machine workload mobility.

This role will work on a cutting edge data center switching/routing product. We are looking for candidates who strive in a fast paced start like environment. You will be part of a fast paced team responsible for delivering quality code hardware for large complex systems requirements. 

Role & Responsibilities
Required Skills:

You will be responsible for ASIC SI/PI design to ensure that the chip meets the SI/PI performance target.You will provide SI analysis on ASIC high speed signals, and provide the detailed design guidance including bump, package, and PCB level to the design team. Also you will provide PI analysis and design guidance on the power delivery network, power filter, and PCB decoupling system design.  

  • This position requires you to have solid experiences on high-speed  design, such as PCIE, XFI, KR and SFP+ /QSFP, DDR2/3, etc.  
  • Need to have deep knowledge in transmission line theory, package design, Serdes, timing analysis, power delivery network, and system power budget.  
  • Requires solid experience with simulation tools from Cadence(including Sigrity), Ansys, ADS and Synopsys.  
  • Hands on experience with key lab equipment such as VNA, TDR and real-time/sampling scopes, spectrum analyzer and BERT. MSEE is required.
