Senior Project Manager - Expat role to Dalian, China

Job Description

F68 Technology and Strategy Office TSO is looking for several Sr. Project Managers to help lead major site strategic efforts, with potential scope covering program management and project execution, technology transfer management, and strategic and business planning. In addition, you are expected to be part of the leadership team helping drive next stages of site growth roadmap.

The selected candidates will report to F68 Director of TSO. You will enable collaboration with partners within Intel as well as outside Intel, specifically Intel/Micron Flash Technologies IMFT and Micron Technology by working closely with these organizations.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Champion the execution of the strategic roadmap by leading one or more major programs at the Dalian site
  • Negotiate resources and influence priorities with diverse stakeholders across the site
  • Facilitate and leverage benchmarking efforts with Intel factory network, IMFT, Micron, and external parties
  • Develop scope and structure to execute new strategic programs and efforts
  • Manage the owned programs from planning to completion.

*The position requires up to 2 years of expatriate assignment in Dalian, China.


Qualifications

  • Candidates must possess at least a BS degree in Engineering, Science, or Business. In addition:
  • 10+ years of leadership experiences in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with non-volatile memory manufacturing and Micron/IMFT systems/business processes is highly preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of project/program/portfolio management, strategic planning, and goal setting
  • High comfort level in influencing senior managers and executive level stakeholders
  • Ability to recognize potential conflicts, facilitate problem resolution and negotiate a positive solution
  • Strong leadership skills in the areas of defining expectations, removing barriers, receiving and providing feedback, and mentoring team members
  • Strong track record showcasing excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision making capabilities
  • Superb articulation, communication, and documentation skills in English.

Non-Volatile Solutions Memory Group:  The Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group is a worldwide organization that delivers NAND flash memory products for use in Solid State Drives (SSDs), portable memory storage devices, digital camera memory cards, and other devices.  The group is responsible for NVM technology design and development, complete Solid State Drive (SSD) system hardware and firmware development, as well as wafer and SSD manufacturing.
