To that end, we're looking for an inspiring, accomplished and high energy leader who can take our university pipeline program and Marketing University ("The U") to the next level. These two programs are organizational cornerstones - the fuel for bringing new talent into the organization and strengthening the existing talents skills sets and capabilities. Both levers are critical as we move the organization and the discipline of Marketing & Communications forward. Our university pipeline program supports new talent through the first two years of their professional journey at Cisco. The program is comprised of our undergraduate and MBA intern programs, as well as programming and support for our recent university and MBA graduates globally. The U is Marketing & Communications' learning and development platform, which offers a wide range of learning opportunities for the entire organization.

Who You'll Work With
This is a highly visible leadership role that will be working closely with Cisco's University Relations team, our HR partners, and Marketing & Communications Strategy, Planning and Operations leaders & team managers. With direction and guidance from our global senior leadership team, you will work with the teams to deeply understand the different disciplines and skill sets we have, where we are building capabilities and where we are securing talent for the future capabilities.

Who You Are
You're passionate about people and the possibilities that can be realized when the right talent is present. Your energy and excitement translates into your engagement with your peers, stakeholders and the team that you lead. You are charismatic, articulate and intuitive with deep experience in leading-edge learning and development practices as well as have a strong understanding of recruiting, onboarding and retaining talent within University Programs.

We expect you have 10 years (at a minimum) of experience developing and managing global learning programs & developing teams. You understand cultural and geographic nuances and partner across borders with absolute ease. You are extremely comfortable managing the ins and outs of a complex financial model - balancing headcount costs, training budget and always focused on the return on investment.
