Our sales team is on a journey of transformation that will change the experience for our customers, partners, stakeholders and employees, driving higher relevance and stronger business results for Cisco. Our sales teams leverage collaborative technology to grow revenue and build relationships with customers and partners, and we are expanding our sales coverage to help accelerate key market segments/products including Service Provider and software. These sales leadership roles are core to Cisco's growth and go-to-market strategy and carry a sales goal with a defined list of customers or partners.

You will be responsible for product and service sales into Service Providers in Americas region. Specifically, you will be responsible for leading an account team to grow revenue for Cisco, driving our Sales culture, and managing stakeholder relationships.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

 - Achieve sales quota in a broad, diverse and complex geography or vertical market

- Drive business planning, forecasting accuracy, and work effectively with cross-functional teams

- Hire, develop and retain top talent and communicate the overall organization strategy and business plan to multiple stakeholders in a collaborative manner

- Develop go-to-market business plans to exceed annual product, service and customer satisfaction objectives - Work seamlessly within a matrix managed environment. Effectively interface with VPs, Operation Directors and Region Managers

- Understand the business climate, competitive environment, and share these findings and developments with management

- Foster and facilitate a collaborative team environment which intersects empowerment with accountability

- Demonstrate openness to change, able to understand and manage change, plan and lead change management strategies.

- Demonstrate passion for customer success, open communication, trust, and integrity.

Who You Are 

We are seeking a Sales Manager, with a proven track record of leading teams of high caliber sales professionals.

Our minimum requirements for the role:

- BA/BS degree required, MBA or graduate degree preferred

- 5-10 years of sales management experience building and managing in diverse team environments

- Ability to build strong internal and customer focused relationships

- Track record of strong leadership skills, building effective teams, creating and communicating a compelling vision for the organization, mentoring sales representatives, and achieving significant results. - Proven thought leadership and strategy development experience.

- Exceptional presentation, communication and influence skills (written and verbal)
