Job Description

In this position, you will be joining the Customer Experience Group within Intel Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) as an applications engineer specializing in systems with Intel processors and FPGA devices. A successful candidate will be responsible for the technical support and customer enabling for accelerating workloads from Intel processors to FPGA accelerators. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Customer facing technical collateral, application notes, design examples, demos and training for customers and Intel field applications engineers
  • Responsible for product design-in and debug support
  • Responding to customer technical questions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related
  • 5 years of applications engineering or system design experience
  • Experience with FPGA design using Verilog or VHDL, RTL simulation, FPGA logic design using Quartus software (or related), FPGA configuration methods
  • Experience with C/C++ programming language, debugging software issues to isolate to FPGA device or FPGA IP
  • Knowledge of PCIe protocol and software stacks
  • Experience with technical collateral and presentations





Preferred (Additional) Qualifications:

  • Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related
  • Experience with algorithmic design using FPGA, from profiling code to find bottlenecks, hardware software partitioning and FPGA IP development
  • Experience with PCIe protocol and software stacks
  • Experience with software development using C/C++ on Intel or related processor architecture
