Description Procurement Associate role with responsibility for preparation and management of Intrastat declarations to central EU governments.

**Roles and Responsibilities:**

Collate and analyze the data needed for Intrastat* declarations from a variety of sources including suppliers, tax and internal ordering systems. Declare to central governments throughout the EU in accordance with strict schedules.

Manage highly complex procurement of configurable products and services. Evaluate and edit Purchase Requisitions. Produce purchase orders from System Tools within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and in accordance with all relevant AT&T Corporate, Procurement and Trade Compliance Policies (for example, AT&T Code of Conduct, OP1, OP6 requirements, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act), applying AT&T terms and conditions as appropriate.

Liaise and collaborate with Business Partners providing advice on sourcing needs and requirements.

Proactively liaise with suppliers on a regular basis, sourcing, pricing, assessing order delivery performance, outstanding orders and root cause of any lead time issues.

Liaise with and provide subject matter expertise to Accounts Payable investigating and clearing invoices that have been referred to procurement for checking in the invoicing system.

Provide supplier performance metrics. Follow up orders placed with suppliers to ensure prompt delivery expediting within process, as needed, or requested by business partners.

*Intrastat is the method of collating information and producing statistics on the movement of goods between Member States of the European Union (EU). Data is primarily details of weight, volume and value of the equipment being moved between states on a monthly basis.

**Key Competencies and Skills:**

1. Numerate, analytical and self-motivated with the discipline to produce complex accurate reports for Intrastat purposes. These will need to be submitted to European governments monthly in accordance with critical schedules.

2. Responsibility for multi-country purchasing requirements in the region. Must also support colleagues, in other regions, when required.

3. Assist, advise and support Business Units in placing their orders.

4. Interface with the corporate Global Supply Chain, Business Units and supplier teams.

5. Place orders on appropriate suppliers ensuring information on Purchase orders meets quality standards. Quotes will be reviewed, challenged as needed and typically attached or referred to on the PO. Ensure correct contract discounts applied.

6. Possess a working knowledge of purchasing laws and regulations in EMEA countries that cover the AT&T business models. Collaborate with and refer queries to the Trade Compliance team as needed.

7. Education up to A Level standard or appropriate professional experience.

8. Advanced Excel skills

9. Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office and Ordering Tools.



Ability to work within the limits of Sarbanes Oxley and OP1 regulations

Knowledge of and compliance with TL9000 processes

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Competent in the use of English language

Principle competencies / leadership competencies as per Senior Associate, Procurement Role

Education up to A Level standard or appropriate professional experience.
