What You'll Do

We are looking for an active well-organized finance person with strong analytical & ethical skills to join us. In this highly visible role as Accountant, you will:

  • Ensure that all accounting entries are being prepared in compliance with local and US GAAP
  • Work to ensure that proper and consistent accounting methodologies, techniques, and policies are adopted on a consistent basis
  • Play an active role in the development, monitoring, and evaluation of formal accounting and finance policies as company scales
  • Identify, research, and resolve technical accounting and reporting issues, as needed
  • Be responsible for all Expense process at the company, including settlements with Accountable persons and Suppliers
  • Ensure the accurate monthly closing process and reconciliation as per cisco timelines and policies
  • Ensure the Annual Inventory process
  • Collaborate with outsourcing, archive companies, banks and other Vendors
  • Support internal and external audit engagements

Who You'll Work With

You will work as part of the General Accounting Team of EMEA, CIS Region (Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Armenia)

Who You Are

  • Extremely well-organized, detail-oriented and able maintain accuracy under deadlines with extreme attention to detail
  • Enjoy working in collaborative, team-based environments and can also perform at a high level independently
  • Resourceful, inquisitive, always striving for excellence
  • At minimum, we require:
  • 7 years of experience as Accountant (multi-national companies are preferable)
  • University degree in economics/finance (additional certifications are preferable)
  • Deep knowledge of Ukrainian local accounting and taxation, understanding of GAAP
  • Ukrainian - native; English - upper-intermediate
  • MS-Office skills and experience of working  with complex reporting systems (1C-8, Oracle are preferable)
