Job Description

Trustworthy Execution, Anti-Malware, Cryptography, and Privacy are key elements of the security assurance on today’s Intel products.


A Security Researcher validates systems in order to prevent, detect and mitigate possible vulnerabilities, and this task requires great technical knowledge, expertise, attention to detail and out of the box thinking.


The Security Center of Excellence is responsible for security assurance across a wide set of Intel products.


A typical day as a Security Researcher Intern might include:

·         Meet with your team to discuss possible attack scenarios

·         Develop a Linux shell script to confirm a theoretical attack

·         Explore new paths to known attacks as well as new possible venues of intrusion

·         Develop state of the art automated security testing tools

·         Keep up to date on the latest system exploits and advanced threats.



The successful candidate will design and develop tools and algorithms that will provide evidence of the level of trust and automate part of the security analysis on the elements that integrate an SoC. Security Researchers are excellent at system engineering, programming stars and experienced shell scripting with great communication skills.
