What You'll Do

The Security Network Consulting Engineer (NCE) is responsible for delivering professional services engagements sold by Cisco's sales team. Engagements could include staff augmentation, subscription services, incident response, custom coding and internal projects. The NCE must work independently with the utmost professionalism whether delivering at a customer location or from a remote office. Cisco's consultants are subject matter experts in one or more of security technologies.

Main responsibilities:

* Delivering professional services engagements to customers.

* Documentation of work performed - weekly, monthly, and yearly auditing

* Be a Subject Matter Expert in network & security area; be an extension of the customer's team

* Able to deliver to large scale deployments

* Comfortable presenting to small groups and performs small-scale discussion/training.

* Security Analysis Skills at the Expert level

* Extensive travel delivering Professional Services

Who You'll Work With

Working as part of the Global Security Services organization, the role of NCE (Network Consulting Engineer) involves delivery of both transactional and subscriptional projects to strategic customers throughout the EMEAR theatre. Projects vary considerably between security reviews; design and implementation of Cisco security products; and involvement as part of virtual multi-discipline teams as the security lead in large-scale design and implementation projects.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

* Knowledgeable in network security and skilled in security technologies (ideally TrustSec Solution and ISE Platform Architecture)

* Experience integrating/implementing network security products is a must

* Previous Consultant Experience with an emphasis on consistent delivery of business outcomes.

* Extensive knowledge/experience in Systems Engineering including evaluating, developing, customizing, installing, and supporting network systems.

* Excellent communication skills (written, spoken and listening)

* Highly proficient in TCP/IP networking

* CISSP or other security certification or relevant experience and knowledge

Desirable skills:

* UK Security Clearance (SC or DV).

* Level of comfort presenting to groups of people

* Experience working in a small company building process, policy and documentation

* Must be prepared to travel throughout Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia
