Job Description

We are looking for sharp and talented Security Analysts who will be part of a new global cyber response team at Intel Israel. 
As a Security Analyst on the Global Cyber Response team GCR, you will have a role in providing intrusion analysis in response to emerging threats such as APT and other forms of targeted attacks, organized crime, etc. 
This position on the team will focus on analyzing information and alerts within a large-scale enterprise in order to both identify intrusions and effectively respond to and eradicate security threats from the environment. In addition to responding to real time events you will assist in onboarding and implementing new security initiatives and helping to identify ways to improve overall incident response procedures.




The ideal candidate will have experience utilizing enterprise security tools SIEM, IDS/IPS, Netflow, etc. to analyze results and alerts to identify and mitigate security threats at both the host and network level.
- Understand adversary techniques, tactics, and procedures and how to counter them
- Experience working with Intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Familiar with how logic and rules are used by common security tools to identify and mitigate security threats
- Understanding of common operating systems, ports, protocols, and service logs
- Experience responding to security incidents quickly while mitigating risk and limiting operational and reputational impact
- Experience with projects or issues of high complexity that require knowledge across multiple technical areas and business units
- Strong written and verbal skills providing the ability to communicate complex issues to various audiences
- Self-Starter who takes ownership and responsibility for projects and initiatives
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team settings
- Relevant industry certifications preferred CISSP, GIAC, etc.
- 2+ years of experience working in Information Security or Bachelors or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field
