What You’ll Do

We have a Sales Enablement role open on our Cloud Security team. You will be a highly motivated sales professional who has a passion for delivering world-class technology and services that protect our customers from the network to the endpoint to the Cloud.  As part of your DNA, you are a self-starter with experience identifying areas for improvement within a sales organization and executing on corrections. You will work directly with the several teams (sales, product, etc.) to identify and coordinate steps to empower and improve the abilities of the sales teams. You have a knack for cross-department communication, developing collateral, and presenting strong sales trainings.

•    Work closely with the sales team to learn and identify the major challenges that can be improved to affect the bottom line.
•    Develop and deliver relevant sales trainings to enhance product knowledge and sales abilities to sales teams of multiple skill levels.
•    Gain expert knowledge of several Cisco products.
•    Thoroughly understand SFDC, forecasting, and activity reporting best practices.
•    Work across multiple departments to continuously improve processes, communication, knowledge, etc. that can enhance the Cloud Security teams ability to work more productively
•    Learn the relationships between the Global Security Sales teams, Channels, and SE teams to improve collaboration and explore sales opportunities where appropriate.

Who You’ll Work With

In this role as Sales Enablement Manager, you will be responsible for sales development of the Cisco Security sales teams. This candidate must be able to communicate and work well with sales professionals, sales leadership, and people within several other departments at Cisco.

Who You Are

•    Direct touch sales combined with experience working in a matrixed organization and working with partners to maximize results
•    Experience developing sales collateral, executing sales and product training, and working hands-on with sales teams in an enablement capacity
•    7-10 years of overall technology sales experience
•    Proven/Quantifiable track record of over-achievement
•    Large, complex deal management experience as well as geographic territory execution of account and partner plans
•    Experience in applying solution-selling methodologies to maximize corporate revenue growth. Track record of closing both tactical and strategic opportunities
•    Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
•    Proactive with ability to succeed in a dynamic environment
•    Goal orientated and takes ownership
•    Self-starter
•    High level of attention to detail, able to demonstrate competence building and executing a large geographic plan across multiple Service Provider accounts
•    Ability to travel is required
