Sales and Marketing Intern - Drones (f/m)

Job Description

As the Business Development Intern in the Sales and Marketing Group (SMG) based in the Munich European Office, you will be working with the Business Unit (BU) team that drives Drone revenue for Intel. This role will exhibit a blend of both business and technical skills as we listen to customers to develop drone solutions that excel at providing unmatched value. Working as a team across Business Development Managers, Marketing and Communications, and solution architects, this role will spend a significant amount of time with the drone BU to drive proof of concepts, pilots, and deployments with our customers, create customer reference marketing assets, document solutions, and contribute to design win and demand generation programs to grow our drone revenue and market segment share. Expected length of Internship would be at least 6 up to 12 months starting ideally from Nov. 1st 2017 (you must be enrolled to a university the whole duration of the internship program).


Qualifications

The ideal candidate will exhibit the following behavioral traits:

- Strong communication skills including demonstrated proficiency in sales & marketing

- Demonstrated business acumen and customer orientation skills

- Self-starter with a positive can do attitude, and solid interpersonal communications skills

- Strong results orientation, and not afraid to jump-in where needed

- Active listening skills including experience investigating and understanding feedback

- Strong sense of curiosity and ability to learn

Must haves:

- The candidate should be pursuing a BS in Business Marketing, Computer Science or any other related field of study

- Fluency in English written and spoken

- Experience with marketing, or product management sales

- Experience working with MS Power Point, Excel, Word

- Experience in IT or working with IT customers

- Experience with publishing collateral including case studies, blogs, and compelling presentations

- Experience summarizing, and creating marketing and/or training collateral

Nice to have:

- The candidate should currently be enrolled in an academic institution based in the European Union and have this internship as part of her/his curriculum

- Understanding of drone market

- Fluency in another European languages

- Experience working independently as well as with teams
