Job Description

RTL Design Engineer for Big Core MLC Team in Yakum: An excellent opportunity for a creative and motivated engineer to be part of Intel's Architecture Core Group - IACG doing exciting work in the development of next generation Big Core CPU.Design engineers are responsible for uArch-definition and coding of Intel's Mid-Level-Cache MLC features in Big Core CPU. Intel's Big Core is a leading IP, with large impact on product goodness and corporate profits. The role includes uArch definition/coding/debug of MLC features, while driving a complex process of exercising to logical correctness. Development using unique, state-of-the-art languages and tools, and advanced software engineering methodologies. Designers are supporting large interface from architecture, Back-end, verification and Post-Si validation. In addition to design languages and design methodologies, engineers will develop expertise with Intel's Big Core Architecture and Micro Architecture and will be deeply involved in the process of defining new Intel features. They are expected to be independent, creative, with the ability to innovate new solutions and demonstrate uncompromising quality during their work. The open position for Design engineer is in Yakum Intel site.


Qualifications

The candidate should possess a BSC or MSC degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.

* 2-5 years of overall experience performing Register Transfer Level RTL logic design using System Verilog

* Experience in the last years with RTL development

Advantages:

* Experience with design partitioning, micro-architecture trade-offs and knowledge in timing closure.

* Experience in the last years working with validation engineers to develop functional validation and coverage test plans.

* Strong problem solving and debugging skills and ability to work closely with various chip design disciplines and cross site teams.
