Job Description

Low-Power Circuits Technology Research group in Intel Labs is looking for a self-driven college graduate in the area of low-power mixed-signal VLSI circuit design. The candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team to research and develop innovative energy-efficient circuits and systems for on-die memory, adaptive and resilient designs, clocking, and power management techniques. In this role, the candidate will work on the research as well as proof-of-concept design of complex low-power mixed-signal circuits on latest silicon processes. The candidate will do detailed simulations/analysis to advance design metrics like speed, power, and/or area. Furthermore, the candidate will drive test-chip layout work, and conduct post-Si testing and characterization in order to successfully demonstrate the technology on silicon prototype. The candidate may work closely with other business groups within Intel to transfer new technologies into products and provide necessary documentation/training to enable a successful product integration. The candidate may also participate in the development of intellectual property and lead future research efforts.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Requirements:

The candidate must have a PhD degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.

1+ year of experience with Mixed-Signal Circuit Design.

1+ year of experience with CAD tools for circuit simulation and design.

Preferred Requirements:

Previous internships experiences.
