Job Description
Intel Labs China is looking for passionate, hard-working, and talented Research Scientists who have demonstrated outstanding research background and experiences in the computer vision, machine learning, natural language processing and visual scene reconstruction areas, and have strong passion for researching advanced vision cognition techniques and building innovative applications on Intel computing platforms. Besides technical expertise, the candidate must exhibit ability to work in a highly cross-functional and collaborative corporate environment. The person must demonstrate the dedication and commitment to creative problem solving and getting things done while enjoying teamwork to arrive at solutions for critical problems.


Basic Qualifications: PhD Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field or Master's Degree with 3+ years' experience. Deep theoretical knowledge and hands-on experiences in computer vision, machine learning, natural language processing and visual scene reconstruction. Proven experience in visual recognition/understanding, natural language understanding, visual object/scene reconstruction, etc. Solid research track record with peer-reviewed publications in top academic conferences and journals in the related areas. Computer Science fundamentals including computer architecture, object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis. Strong C/C++ programming skills. Excellence in technical communication with peers and non-technical cohorts. Plus Qualifications: Experiences in large-scale machine learning system developing Development experience on Linux platforms and mobile/embedded devices Performance optimization using SIMD, OpenMP, MPI, CUDA, etc. Experience in developing algorithms to solve real-world problems.
